Everything is awesome!

I’ve just finished another great session of writing (i.e.: a highly productive one) and I’m about to reward myself with lunch. This is the scheme I’ve been following, basically, for the past five years: wake up, concentrate, begin writing, hope for the best, finish writing and then one of two options:
1) “celebrate” a good writing session with a tasty meal or;
2) somberly eat my consolation lunch after a bad session before going to the bed so I can cry a little and reflect about what went wrong, how I can improve the text and what the best course of action is for the next pages. [READ MORE (this link will take you to my new website) ]

The joy of a job well done

Just finished another revision of my book: a thrilling, albeit a bit brutal fight sequence between one of the main characters and his quasi-sadistic teacher.

I finally get SO happy after these readings. The first ones were sure painful, with so much bullcrap having to be cut (the draft was 460 pages long, compared to the current 379-pages project), but now the book is close to its final form - an awesome, thrilling, potentially world-changing final form! :D

Hope you all love it when it's publiched. ;) Cheers!

A "confession bear" moment

Few feelings are as rewarding as that of wanting to write a great book and, after a considerable amount of work, actually writing one.

"Brasiliana", my third book, is massive, sweet, entertaining and just d#mn good! I must confess I suffer for having, right now, three great works that Brazilians largely ignore (literally "ignore": they don't even make an effort to open and read them!).

Spiritually and historically, I'm okay, for I know I've "bought" my place in History with these three works. However, living under the constant stress of (mundane) failure and humiliation from my Brazilian peers is no fun at all.

The most agonizing thing in the world, thus, is having made good, but never being recognized for the good you've made. It's biblically sadistic. #NotFunAtAllGod

Well, It's a relief to take that out of my chest. Sorry if I bummed anybody down. You will surely be cheered up when my first works start coming out at: www.wattpad.com/user/DiogoCysne.

I wish you all a great, wondrous night! :D Here, take three hearts for sweet dreams: <3 <3 <3

Immensely, hugely, outrageously successful!

Another immensely, hugely, outrageously successful session of writing! After two painful revisions of my early draft, this third copy-editing version is reading as smoothly as hot butter over a straight-out-of-the-oven slice of baguette!

Mmm... baguette! It's been two days since I don't eat anything, so I'm kinda slobbering all over the keyboard.

O, godd#mn it! Now the keyboard's brokenakdndeldcmcsknclmsdvqlkabfeaonroveldfflsndflvnodsfsvwuhervheavemcowjferhngmclxm,l,fij,xjgoerhncwrmjxcw....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
*dead*

Beyond awesome!

I've finished copy-editing the last 10 pages of the first act of my next book, and they were beyond awesome!

It's basically one giant chase-and-fight scene of over 10 main characters atop a high-speed train travelling on 6-kilometers-high elevated rails.

It's quite something! Narration is tight, action is clear and the whole passage is possibly the most high-octane thing ever put into literature! :D

Gosh, I really hope you all enjoy it too! 😊

P.S.: translation and publishing in the U.S., however, will only start at the end of the year, so... yeah, that's a bummer. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
